Talacre Lighthouse

This is a particularly impressive shot. The black and white makes the subject look much more moodier, and adds a nice gloom to the lighthouse. The subject isn't particularly well detailed so the added effects make the piece better. The shore line is a nice gray where its indeterminate where water and mud end/begin. The cloud cover is also very smooth, and offers almost the perfect backdrop for the light house to stand out against. The water ripples are nice as well as the imprints on the sand. The photographer does a great job capturing all these things. Excellent work!
